Building a home from the ground up is an experience in itself. You need professionals that you can trust and turn to for information and guidance. You may wonder how and when you pick the plumber in the building process. Often times, and for various reasons, your contractor will automatically decide which plumber will be used to plumb your home. However, you should be aware, it is ultimately your choice. If quality and service are important to you, remember it's your house, chose Watters.
Watters can help you with your plumbing needs through every stage of the building experience. Beginning with the design stage of your home through complete kitchen and bath installations. We have the expertise to draw out an integrated pipe run that benefits you most in your new home, including gas runs, all the way through assisting you in selection of sinks, toilets (Caroma toilets), baths, showers, to complete kitchen or bath ensembles.
How it works
Each new home is unique and is treated as such. When we receive a plan for a new home, we put together a FREE, professional proposal using prices of product choices based on some general information we get from either the builder or the home owner. Once the proposal is accepted, the homeowner schedules an appointment for a personal consultation. During that consultation, the homeowner is shown each of the products that were listed in their proposal. They are given the opportunity to view other products, as well as test many of them in our working showroom. After the homeowner selects the products they want in their home, a change order is prepared listing the price changes from the original products listed to the new products selected with the total difference to the original price.

- Septic System Do’s and Don’ts
- Pump your tank(s) every two to three years, sometimes more often depending on how many people are using the system, the tank capacity, and the age of the leach field.
- Know the location of your septic tanks and pump station, if you have one.
- Mark the covers clearly, have exact measurements, or install risers.
- If your tank has a filter it should be cleaned at least every time you pump your tank.
- Minimize or eliminate the use of a sink disposal.
- Conserve water.
- Do not flush or put down the drains bulky waste, grease, colored toilet paper, toxic materials, commercial additives, or enzymes.
- Do not allow vehicles, livestock, and/or stacks of wood on your leach field as the weight can compact the soils and/or break the pipes or chambers.
- Do not burn brush or anything else over your leach field.
Any soggy areas around the leach field or disagreeable odors indicates a problem; HAVE IT CHECKED IMMEDIATELY
